Welcome to soohoo.site
A home for the work I'm doing in engineering, investing, real estate, AI, and everything in between.
Greetings, my name is Spencer Montana Soohoo. I’ve started this site for a few reasons. First, to compete in the great Soohoo family blog war. Let’s see if I can beat out my Dad Anthony Soohoo with AnthonySoohoo.com and my brother in law Samuel Soohoo Bishop at SamBish.com.
I am also a man of many interests. When not at my day job as an engineer at US Synthetic, I am working on numerous side projects, and I wanted to document my progress. Anyone interested in collaborating with or hiring me, feel free to reach out.
Sections
- Engineering — The stuff I build
- Investing — The stuff I invest in
- Real Estate — my wholesaling journey. I haven’t made wholesaling happen yet, but that’s part of why I’m starting this blog. To document my journey to wholesale one house before fall 2026.
- AI — Tools I’m playing around with and skills I’m learning in order to optimize my output
- Miscellaneous Endeavors — the random stuff.
Why write in public
Three reasons. First, because the best way to figure out whether I actually understand something is to try to explain it. Second, because a lot of the things I want to learn about — manufacturing, wholesaling, retail market mechanics, AI — have been taught to me by strangers on the internet, and maybe someone will derive some value from this. Lastly, to keep me accountable. If I write my goals and document my progress, I will improve faster. In the words of Thomas S. Monson, “When performance is measured, performance improves. When performance is measured and reported, the rate of improvement accelerates.”
